The alleyways pieces show the sometimes hidden beauty of the city's forgotten places. The alleyways of Melbourne were for years neglected and forgotten, unloved. I've always seen a beauty in them (which Melbournians seems to have finally caught on to). These pieces use design elements to enhance what exists. I don't want to take away the grime, or graffiti, or the secret rear entrance to porn theatres. I want to celebrate it. This is where the city I live in is at its most real, most honest.
